Pure Staff are currently looking for a Class 1 Driver to work DAYS or NIGHTS in the Crick area. We have ongoing vacancies to work Monday to Friday every week.
Pay rates (PAYE):
- Class 1 Driver Days Monday to Friday: £16.75ph
- Nights Monday to Friday: £19.90ph
Your hourly pay rate is £16.75 and you will accrue £2.02 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.
While working with Pure Staff, you’re employed and paid directly by us – no umbrella companies, no processing fees, no outsourced payroll – just simple PAYE with accurate, on-time payslips directly from our experienced in-house payroll team. You will receive, in addition to the pay rate, holiday pay, which is paid separately as annual leave for any time booked off. Shifts can be between 10 to 12 hours. Start times vary between 04:00 – 06:00 for days.
The job itself for the Class 1 Driver involves multiple contracts that this client subcontracts into. It could involve general haulage or palletised goods. For the general haulage and palletised goods, there will be NO HANDBALL. All RDC work.
We have ongoing positions available if you are a Class 1 Driver working within the logistics distribution and supply chain industry. Our client is looking for a candidate that can not only drive an HGV C+E Class 1 articulated lorry successfully but that can communicate well to ensure that all deliveries, collections, and trailer swaps are completed. There will be a stop call wait procedure with all clients to maximise productivity and keep drivers informed on possible delays or route changes.
To become a Pure Staff flexible employee, you will need:
- HGV C+E Driving licence
- 6 months HGV C+E Class 1 Driver experience is essential
- CPC Card
- Digital card
- Clean Licence preferred with no more than 6 points (no TT TS MS DR DD CD CU IN codes)
