About the Role
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Van Driver on behalf of a well-established distribution business within the beverages industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Van Driver seeking ongoing work, regular hours and the chance to secure permanent employment with a growing operation.
The successful Van Driver will be responsible for delivering kegs and casks to hospitality venues across Manchester and the surrounding areas while providing excellent customer service throughout each delivery route.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Driving a company van to complete scheduled delivery routes
- Loading the van prior to departure
- Delivering kegs and casks to customer premises
- Completing between 8 and 12 deliveries per shift
- Delivering directly into designated storage areas, cellars and rooms as requested
- Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling duties
- Handling loads of up to 1100kg per trip
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
Shift Pattern
- Tuesday to Friday

Requirements
- Full UK Category B driving licence
- No more than 3 penalty points
- Experience in a customer-facing delivery role
- Ability to carry out substantial manual handling and heavy lifting
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Strong understanding of safe loading and unloading practices
