My client is a Food Manufacturing business that is looking for a HR Advisor to work a 15 month FTC for maternity cover. They are a superb employer (200 staff on site) and you would be working alongside 4 colleagues providing HR support to the Plant and People Support Team.

Job Purpose

First point of call to employees and managers for all HR Related queries including managing all employee documentation to contribute to the smooth running of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting with implementing and enforcing HR policies and procedures, including communicating these to department managers to be rolled out to the whole company.
  • Keeping up to date with HR laws to maintain compliance within the department.
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date employee records and files, ensuring employee documents are always valid and in date.
  • Managing employee relations, assisting with the resolution of employee conflicts, disciplinaries, and grievance matters in conjunction with policies and procedures.
  • Play an active role in the recruitment process, including job posting, conducting telephone interviews and communicating job offers.
  • Commencing on-boarding process for new starters, including preparing offer letters, conducting inductions and ensuring all relevant documentation is in place.
  • Conducting data analysis and reporting on HR metrics such as turnover rates, absenteeism and employee satisfaction levels.
  • Effectively provide general administration tasks on HR software to assist in a smooth running department.
  • Providing support to staff on all Human Resource issues as required and encouraging staff well-being in all departments.
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of employee engagement programs, seeking feedback and conducting surveys.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives to support the people strategy.

CIPD Level 3 Desirable BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

Mental Health First Aider Desirable BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

MUST HAVE SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE IN EMPLOYEE RELATIONS, EMPLOYMENT LAW, EFFECTIVE ON-BOARDING & HR COMPLIANCE
