Pure Staff are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver working on day shifts for the following role, this role can offer candidates either ongoing agency work or temporary to permanent based on a successful trial period. A HGV Class 2 Driver is required for an ASAP start for a company that deals with the delivery of office printers, they are based in Daventry. This role will involve 2-man deliveries, you will be delivering printers, so heavy handball is involved.

Pay rates – Days: Monday to Friday £15.15 per hour PAYE PLUS Overtime which is paid at £16.84 per hour after 8 HOURS. After completing 12 weeks of work you will be entitled to a pay increase to £15.26 per hour. Your hourly pay rate is £15.15, and you will accrue £1.83 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as holiday pay is paid separately when you book annual leave.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • HGV Class 2 License
  • No more than 6 points
  • At least 6 months Class 2 driving experience
  • Reliable
  • Excellent time management

Our client will be expecting successful candidates to fulfil the role of Class 2 Driver – Delivery and installation of printers (installation training will be provided) Installation of Amazon lockers required on occasion. Speak to customers in a professional manner. Clean driving license with no more than 6 points (no TT TS MS DR DD DG codes).

It is Monday to Friday work with start times from 5am, no weekends. Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or Payroll Processing Fees.
