Overview
HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver required for immediate starts in Highbridge.
Client specializes in logistic distribution of refrigerated and ambient goods across the UK. The client in Highbridge is a large Southwest-based partner known for positive feedback from drivers.
Responsibilities
- Trunking to RDCs and stores.
- No handball involved; box trailer deliveries.
- Operate modern, well-looked-after trucks.
- Use the app on all deliveries.
Requirements
- Have a valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving Licence.
- 6 months experience is essential for this role.
- Valid CPC Card.
- Valid Digital Card.
- Clean Driving Licence with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, or DD codes).
- Start times can vary; candidates should be able to start between 04:00 and 10:00.
- Shifts can be long but, in keeping with tachograph law, up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.
Pay and Working Pattern
- Days: Monday to Friday £16.50 per hour PAYE ONLY.
- Weekends: £20.00 per hour PAYE ONLY.
- £25 for each night out.
- Hourly pay includes holiday pay accrual: £1.99 per hour worked banked for annual leave.
