Your role as an hgv class 1 driver

  • Efficient & safe deliveries: ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Communication: keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months experience as an hgv class 1 driver.
  • Full in-date CPC, tachograph card, and driving licence.
  • Must have held a HGV Class 1 Driver licence for at least 2 years
  • A positive attitude, flexibility, and confidence on the road.
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
  • Knowledgeable of driving hours and tachograph rules and regulations.
  • £17.00 per hour (Monday to Friday) + holiday entitlement.
  • Ongoing role: secure long-term employment after a successful probationary period.
  • Free parking at the depot.
  • 10 hour shifts typically.
  • 5 shifts per week with an opportunity for ongoing work.
  • Occasional weekend shifts available for those interested in extra hours.
