Pay rates
Days: £16.50 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLY
Nights: £18.50 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLY
Weekends and Bank Holidays: £19.50 per hour
Pay rates do not include holiday pay; holiday pay is paid separately when you book annual leave.
Your hourly pay rate is £16.50 and you will accrue £1.99 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave.
Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or Payroll Processing Fees.
Duties of a HGV Class 1 Driver
- RDC trunking and store deliveries.
- Handball involved to help unload the trailer.
- Modern, well looked after trucks.
- Daily Vehicle checks.
- A professional manner when dealing with the end customer.
- Always Wearing the correct PPE whilst working (safety Boots and Hi-Vis).
Start times can vary but we are looking to start between 07.00-09.00 on days and 17.00-23.00 on nights. Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.
HGV Drivers required immediately for temporary work for a client who specialises in RDC and store deliveries across the UK. Our customer in Redditch is one of our largest clients based in the Worcestershire area and are well known for treating their drivers well from previous positive feedback.
The ideal HGV Class 1 Driver will have
- A valid HGV C+E HGV Class 1 Driver License
- 6 months experience is required
- Valid CPC Card
- Valid Digital Card
- Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.
