Immediate start - HGV Class 1 Driver on an ongoing basis needed in Hoddesdon. Pay rates are as follows:
- Days Mon to Fri: £16.63
- Nights Mon to Fri: £19.00
- Saturday Days: £18.71
- Saturday Nights: £21.37
- Sunday Days: £24.95
- Sunday Nights: £28.10
Please note that night rates only apply between the hours of 18:00 and 04:00; work completed outside these hours is paid at the day rate. Your hourly pay rate is £16.63, and you will accrue £2.01 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave.

A HGV Class 1 driver duties will include the following:
- Daily vehicle checks
- Store deliveries and trunking involved
- Multi-drop with handball involved (rolling cages)
- Flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends
- Manual entries must be done for Digi Taco Cards
- A professional manner when dealing with the end customer
- Ability to complete an assessment prior to work starting
- Always wearing the correct PPE whilst working (safety boots and Hi-Vis)
The times we need drivers to start shifts are between the hours of 18:00-05:00. Adhoc shifts are available on Fridays and Saturdays but also weekdays. The customer is one of the world’s largest retail distributors and offers both store delivery work and trunking back and forth to RDCs all over the UK.
Pure Staff specialise in the recruitment of HGV drivers and have clients based all over the Midlands offering drivers, shifts, and work that suits their needs and personal lives.

This work is ongoing and offers regular work all year round due to the nature of the contract. Holiday pay is also accrued as annual leave, which is paid to you separately when you book annual leave. You are entitled to 33 days of annual leave and only have a 30-minute break deducted!
