JOB VACANCY: CSCS Labourers Needed (6 Positions Available)
We are urgently seeking 6 hardworking CSCS Labourers for a physically demanding project based in Edinburgh . This role involves moving and setting up furniture in university accommodation. If you\'re ready for hands-on work and reliable hours, we want to hear from you.
Location: Edinburgh - University Accommodation Site
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00/6:00 PM
Days: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: 12.50 per hour
Start Date: Monday 21st July
Job Duties Include:
- Lifting, carrying, and installing student accommodation furniture (beds, desks, wardrobes, chairs, etc.)
- Moving heavy items up 5-6 flights of stairs (no lift access)
- Room layout adjustments and basic setup tasks
- Unloading furniture deliveries and distributing items across floors
- Keeping work areas tidy and disposing of packaging
- Supporting the site team and following instructions to meet deadlines
- Adhering to all site health and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Physically fit and capable of repeated heavy lifting
- Previous experience in labouring or manual handling is preferred
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work in a team
- PPE required: steel toe cap boots and high-vis clothing
