Pure Staff Ltd are recruiting for a CNC Operator on behalf of a client with over 40 years in the engineering sector, providing high‑precision components to a wide range of aerospace, nuclear and technology customers.

Your Role as a CNC Operator

• Operate 5‑axis CNC machinery to file and cut metal components
• Prepare and calibrate machines for high‑precision production
• Run machines independently throughout the shift
• Produce components to exact tolerances and engineering specifications
• Follow engineering schematics and drawings accurately
• Work within a high‑precision engineering environment

Requirements

• ESSENTIAL – Previous experience within an engineering environment
• ESSENTIAL – Ability to run CNC machines independently
• Strong understanding of tolerances and precision engineering standards
• Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving ability
• Reliability and a positive attitude towards teamwork

Pay & Shifts

• £18.00 per hour
• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
• Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
• 30‑minute unpaid break each day
