We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a trunking role between RDCs, offering consistent work and competitive pay.
Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour
Working Days: Monday to Friday
The Role:
- Trunking between RDCs and distribution centres
- No handball – minimal physical work involved
- Curtain-side work (opening/closing curtains as required)
- Clean, well-maintained vehicles
- Regular ongoing work with immediate starts available
- Shifts: Monday to Friday
- Day and/or night shifts available
- Average shift length: 10-12 hours
- Home daily – no nights out required
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience
- Valid CPC Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 points on licence (no DR, DD, IN, TT codes)
- Good understanding of tachograph and driving laws
