Pure Staff is recruiting a Machine Operators Mate to join a client based in Birmingham. The client is a well‑established multi‑metal precision stockist and processor, supplying a comprehensive range of precision alloys to manufacturers across multiple industries. This role is an opportunity for a hands‑on individual to support machine operators within a busy production environment, gaining valuable experience within a specialist metals business.
Your Role
- Assisting machine operators with daily production tasks
- Preparing materials for processing and supporting machine setup
- Handling and moving metal strips and materials safely
- Supporting the production of precision alloy products
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- Completing general production and warehouse duties as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment required
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
