HGV Class 2 Driver needed in Aylesbury for a temp to perm role paying £16.00 per hour. Pure Staff have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified HGV Class 2 Driver on a temp to perm basis. The shift pattern for this role will be Monday to Friday every week with start times at 06.30am and finishing around 16.30pm.
Our client specialises in delivering metal products like sheets to clients, and strapping the product down to pallets is essential. We are looking for Day Drivers who can meet the below specifications:
- Strapping experience is essential
- Between 8-15 drops a day
- 90% of work is forklifted off - some handball will be required
- Deliveries of metal products on pallets
- Daily vehicle checks
- A professional manner when dealing with the end customer
The ideal candidate:
- HGV Class 2 Licence
- At least 6 months experience is required for this role
- Will be physically fit as manual handling of pallets will be involved
- A valid Digital tacho card
- A valid CPC
- Clean Driving Licence with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD codes)
HGV Class 2 Driver Pay Rate is £16.00ph for this role. Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as holiday pay is paid separately when you book annual leave. Your hourly pay rate is £16.00 and you will accrue £1.93 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave.
