Pure Staff is recruiting an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver (C1) for a well‑established fruit and vegetable distribution company based in Widnes. This is a 12‑week temp‑to‑perm opportunity, offering a clear pathway to a permanent role.
Start Date: 15/04/2026
Shifts Available: Monday to Saturday
Training Period: First 2 weeks will be Monday to Friday
Start Time: 04:00 AM (8–10 hour shifts)
Rota: Issued 6 weeks in advance
Responsibilities:
- Deliver city‑based or longer‑distance deliveries
- Use tail lift and pump truck for loading/unloading
- Minimal handball required
- Deliver fresh fruit and vegetables to shops, wholesalers, and markets
Requirements:
- Valid UK Category C1 licence
- Up‑to‑date Digital Tachograph and CPC card
- Minimum 12 months of 7.5T driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
Pay: £15.00 per hour
