Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Welder to join our client based in Worcester. Our client is a well-established precision engineering company that works with major businesses within the agricultural and automotive industries, producing high-quality engineered components and solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Welder to join a skilled manufacturing team, with the potential to secure a permanent position, following a successful interview and weld test.
Your Role
As a Welder, your duties will include:
- Carrying out welding work to a high standard on precision-engineered components
- Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
- Supporting the manufacture of products for the agricultural and automotive sectors
- Maintaining tools and equipment in a safe working condition
- Following all health and safety procedures within the workshop
Requirements
- Previous welding experience - essential
- Ability to pass a weld test as part of the recruitment process
- Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment desirable
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual and hard-working
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay & Shifts
- £15.00 per hour
- Monday - Friday
- 08:00 - 16:00
- Temporary to permanent opportunity, subject to a successful interview and weld test
