Your Role

  • Collaborating with the engineering team to design and develop mechanical handling systems
  • Creating detailed 3D models, CAD drawings, and technical documentation
  • Analysing, testing, and optimising designs for performance and efficiency
  • Ensuring all designs meet industry standards and safety regulations
  • Supporting the manufacturing and installation process where required
  • Maintaining accurate design records and documentation

Requirements

  • Previous experience or training in mechanical design
  • Proficiency in design software such as Inventor, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop

Pay & Shifts

  • £14.00 per hour
  • Monday - Friday
  • 08:00 - 17:00
  • 30 minute unpaid break
  • Temporary to permanent opportunity after a successful minimum 12 week period
