Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver for our client based in Newport. Immediate starts are available following a successful interview process. Our client is a leading waste management company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business in a hands-on role.
Your role as a Forklift Driver:
- Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment
- Loading and unloading vehicles using forklift equipment
- Transporting goods to and from storage areas
- Assisting with picking orders using manual pick sheets when required
- Handling items weighing between 15-25kg where necessary
- Performing quality control checks on goods
- Booking items in and out of the warehouse accurately
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace
Requirements:
- Valid and in-date Forklift Licence (Counterbalance or Reach preferred)
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures related to forklift use
- Good level of English and communication skills
- Ability to complete basic stock checks and documentation accurately
- Physically fit and capable of supporting manual handling when required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Available to work part-time weekday shifts
Pay & Shifts:
- £12.98 per hour
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
- 30-minute unpaid break
