Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder to join our client based in Lydney, Gloucestershire. Our client specialises in welding repairs on spray tanker vehicles and is currently expanding their services, creating an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder to join their growing team.
This MIG Welder role is ideal for someone with strong welding experience who is looking for long-term work, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful trial period.
Your Role
- Carrying out MIG welding on spray tanker vehicles
- Performing repair work and modifications to a high standard
- Reading and working from basic engineering drawings
- Inspecting welds to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Maintaining tools and welding equipment
- Supporting the team with general workshop duties as required
- Working safely and adhering to all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous MIG welding experience - essential
- Ability to pass a welding test as part of the interview process
- Experience in vehicle repair or industrial welding desirable
- Good attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a growing business
Pay & Shifts
- £16.00 - £19.00 per hour (depending on experience and weld test)
- Monday - Friday
- 08:00 - 17:00
