Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Porter; our client is the UK's largest vertically integrated retailer of fitted kitchens and bedrooms. They are looking for a dedicated individual to join the team to progress into a class 2 Driver within the company (training will be provided). This is a great opportunity for someone to join a very reputable brand and to gain your HGV licence once permanently employed by them.
Your Role
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading Kitchens.
- Ensure goods are secured safely for transport.
- Support vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
- Help complete delivery and collection paperwork.
- Follow all port safety procedures and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers.
- Assist with manual handling duties as required.
Requirements
- Must have a clean UK drivers licence Class B
- Must want to become a class 2 Driver.
- 2 Day inductions to be completed before start date.
Pay & Shifts
Monday - Friday start times can range from 04:00 - 07:00 depending on delivery locations. £13.25 per hour.
