Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Panel Wirer for our client, based in Studley, Redditch. Immediate starts are available following a successful interview process.

Our client is a well-established manufacturer specialising in electrical control panels and assemblies. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled team in a hands-on role with long-term potential.

Your role:

  • Reading and interpreting CAD schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel diagrams
  • Building BMS and power plates to customer specifications
  • Installing and wiring electrical control panels
  • Using and maintaining tools including cutting tools, power tools, and test equipment
  • Inspecting and testing panels before dispatch
  • Packing panels effectively for delivery
  • Identifying and reporting faults in electrical wiring systems
  • Adhering to Health & Safety procedures and company standards
  • Proactive with Management - clear communication skills, ability & experience of managing complex Workshop / Office interaction

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year practical experience as a Panel Wirer or similar, however, less experience would be considered
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical specifications and diagrams
  • Knowledge of single and three-phase circuits, wiring accessories, and safety regulations
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • CSCS accreditation preferred
  • Full clean driver's licence desirable
  • Team Leader experience - willing and able

Pay & Shifts:

  • £15.00 - £16.00 per hour depending on experience and a successful interview
  • Monday to Friday: This can lead to a Permanent position after the successful period, this is a minimum 12 weeks period via Pure Staff
  • Weekly pay from an experienced payroll team
  • Holiday is accrued up to a maximum of 28 days (pro-rata)
