Duties:
Procurement & Inventory Support
– raise and manage purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies
– communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery accuracy
– monitor stock levels and alert relevant teams to potential shortages or delays
Logistics & Transport Booking
– schedule collections and deliveries with logistics providers
– prepare delivery documentation (packing lists, labels, shipping notes) as required
– track shipments and ensure on-time deliveries to customers and distribution partners
Product Setup & Data Management
– create and maintain product records in ERP or inventory systems
– input product specifications, pricing, and categorisation details accurately
– support updates to product catalogues, BOMs (bills of materials), and system data as needed
Customer Service & Order Management
– serve as a point of contact for customer queries, providing timely and professional support via phone and email
– accurately process customer orders, ensuring compliance with stock levels, pricing, and delivery schedules
– coordinate with production and warehouse teams to track order status and resolve any issues
Skills:
- Prior experience in an administrative, operations, or logistics support role ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Familiarity with supply chain processes, order systems, and transport coordination
- Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Sage)
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
