We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established residential developer for an experienced Customer Service Maintenance Operative to join their growing team. This is a field-based role covering multiple developments across Derby and the East Midlands. The position offers a varied workload and the opportunity to work within a highly professional environment. This position is ideal for a skilled multi-trade operative who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship alongside excellent customer service.
The Role:
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused maintenance service, aiming for first-time resolution
- Carry out a range of remedial and snagging works to a high standard
- Complete tasks across multiple trades including carpentry, patch plastering, silicone works, plumbing, and decorating
- Plan and manage your own workload efficiently to meet scheduled appointments
- Ensure all work is signed off by customers upon completion
- Identify and escalate any issues or risks appropriately
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Work from drawings, instructions, and site information as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar multi-trade or maintenance role - ideally in new build or high end renovation sector
- Strong skills in carpentry, plaster patching, silicone application, and decorating (essential)
- Good understanding of general construction and health safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- IT literate and comfortable using handheld devices/systems
- Full UK driving licence
