About the Role
This HGV Class 1 Day Driver opportunity offers ongoing work delivering goods to retail locations throughout the UK. Working within the logistics and distribution sector, you will become part of a professional transport operation with excellent driver support, modern vehicles, and consistent work available throughout the year.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a HGV Class 1 Day Driver, your duties will include: Completing supermarket and retail store deliveries throughout the UK Carrying out daily vehicle and trailer safety inspections Ensuring safe and compliant transportation of goods Self-tipping deliveries at customer sites Unloading roll cages using tail lifts and pump trucks Handballing stock when required Completing delivery paperwork and POD documentation accurately Following planned routes and delivery schedules Maintaining communication with transport teams Adhering to Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and Health & Safety legislation

09:00 and 11:00 Shifts available
Thursday through to Monday Average shift length of
10-12 hours Weekend work available Ongoing assignments with additional shifts regularly available
Requirements
Valid
HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence Valid
Driver CPC Qualification Card Valid
Digital Tachograph Card Good understanding of UK driving regulations Reliable and professional approach to work Ability to carry out physical duties associated with deliveries
