Class 1 Driver immediate start in Tewkesbury. Pure Staff are recruiting for Class 1 Driver for the following role below.
Class 1 Driver's Pay rates:
- Days: £16.50 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLY
- Nights: £17.50 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLY
- Weekends & Bank Holidays: £20 per hour PAYE ONLY
Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as holiday pay is paid separately when you book holiday. Your hourly pay rate is £17.50 and you will accrue £2.11 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.
Class 1 Night Driver's required immediately for temporary work for a client who specialises in distributing fresh milk and dairy products across the whole of the UK. This family run business is looking for drivers to join their smoothly ran operation on a temporary basis. The customer is looking for HGV Class 1 Driver's who are flexible to work Monday-Friday and weekends.
Duties of a Class 1 Driver:
- Easy trunking to an RDC
- Store deliveries of cages
- Up to 4 drops if carrying out store deliveries
- The ability to undertake manual handling
The ideal HGV Class 1 driver will:
- Have a valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
- Valid Digital Card
- Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.
Start times can vary but we are looking for Class 1 Drivers on Nights who are available to start around 04:00 to 08:00. Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.
