The Role
As a Van Driver, you'll be responsible for:
- Delivering automotive parts to trade and commercial customers across the local area
- Loading and unloading vehicle parts of varying sizes and weights
- Safely handling heavier items, including engines and oil drums
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery
- Completing daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
- Accurately completing delivery paperwork
- Maintaining communication with the transport team throughout your shift
- Driving a large van safely while following all road traffic legislation and company procedures
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- At least 6 months' commercial van driving experience
- A full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years
- No more than 6 penalty points
- A professional, reliable, and positive attitude
- Good attention to detail
- Confidence completing daily vehicle checks
- Availability for ongoing work
