About the Role
Pure Staff are recruiting for a Van Driver on behalf of a well-established automotive distribution business based in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Van Driver looking for long-term, ongoing work with a professional operation that offers genuine opportunities for permanent employment. Working within the automotive industry, you will be responsible for delivering vehicle parts to commercial customers throughout the local area while providing excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Complete multi-drop deliveries of automotive parts to businesses and garages Typically carry out 6 to 8 drops per shift Load, unload and manually handle products safely and efficiently Complete delivery paperwork accurately using an electronic POD device Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects Deliver excellent customer service at all times Follow company health and safety procedures
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday Start times available between 04:00 and 12:00 Flexible start times may be available depending on operational requirements Typical shift lengths of 8 to 12 hours Ongoing work available throughout the year No regular weekend working
Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence Previous van driving experience preferred Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling duties Good communication and customer service skills Ability to complete paperwork accurately using electronic devices Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach Good understanding of road safety regulations
