Job Description £18.25ph Equivalent Weekdays | £21.00ph Saturdays | £22.34ph Sundays & Bank Holidays | Afternoon Starts | No Handball \n Pure Staff's Driving Team are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Avonmouth to work with one of the UK's largest and longest-established logistics businesses, completing trunking and store deliveries for a major national retail contract. This is consistent Class 1 work with afternoon start times between 12:00 and 16:00 and shifts averaging approximately 10 hours. The work consists of a mixture of trunking and retail store deliveries with no handball involved. n Rates for a HGV Class 1 Driver \n Monday to Friday: £16.50ph + £17.50 daily shift allowance (equivalent £18.25ph) \n Saturday: £21.00ph + holiday pay accrued \n Sunday & Bank Holidays: £22.34ph + holiday pay accrued \n Weekend work is optional , but shifts are available relatively consistently for drivers who want additional work or would prefer their regular days off to fall during the week. Holiday pay is accrued separately and paid when you take annual leave. You'll be paid weekly, every Thursday night / Friday morning, directly through Pure Staff's in-house PAYE payroll. \n Your Typical Working Day for Class 1 Driver \n \n Afternoon starts between 12:00 and 16:00 \n Shifts averaging approximately 10 hours \n Mixture of HGV Class 1 trunking and store deliveries \n Delivering into retail locations \n No handball \n Strapping and securing all loads \n Checking loads thoroughly before leaving the loading bay \n Ensuring trailers and loads are correctly contained and safe before moving off \n Consistent weekday work \n Optional weekend shifts available \n \n Load security is a critical requirement of this assignment.
