Duties and Responsibilities
As an
HGV Class 2 Driver , your responsibilities will include: Delivering steel products to commercial customers nationwide Completing between 6 and 8 deliveries per shift Ensuring loads are transported safely and professionally Completing accurate delivery documentation using an electronic POD device Carrying out vehicle checks in line with company procedures Providing excellent customer service at delivery points Complying with all driver hours and road transport regulations
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday Typical start times between 06:00 and 08:00 Flexibility available on start times Shift lengths between 8 and 12 hours Ongoing work throughout the year
Requirements
To be considered for this
HGV Class 2 Driver
role you will require: Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence Driver CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations Excellent attention to detail when completing paperwork and POD information Professional and reliable approach to work
