Duties and Responsibilities As a HGV Class 1 Night Driver , your responsibilities will include: Completing supermarket and retail store deliveries Carrying out vehicle and trailer safety inspections before each shift Safely transporting goods while complying with all transport legislation Completing self-tip deliveries at customer locations Unloading roll cages using tail lifts and pump trucks Handballing stock where required Completing all delivery paperwork and POD documentation accurately Following planned delivery routes and delivery schedules Maintaining excellent communication with transport teams Adhering to Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and Health
