HGV Class 1 Day Driver - Flexible - Hereford

Pure Staff's Driving Team are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Day Drivers for one of our long-standing customers based in Hereford. • Pay Rates Monday to Friday (Days) - £18.50ph (+ holiday accrued) or £20.73ph (Rolled-Up Holiday Pay)
• Weekend (Days) - £21.50ph (+ holiday accrued) or £24.10ph (Rolled-Up Holiday Pay)

The Role:

As an HGV Class 1 Day Driver in Hereford, you'll be transporting palletised goods using modern articulated vehicles across nationwide distribution routes. Typical work includes:

• 1 to 3 deliveries or collections per shift
• Average shift lengths of 8-10 hours (occasional 12-hour shifts)
• Consistent daytime starts
• Modern, well-maintained fleet
• Nationwide distribution work
• Consistent ongoing work with regular bookings

What You'll Need:

To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Day Driver in Hereford, you'll need:

• UK Category C+E Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 month's HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach
• Good understanding of Driver Hours, Working Time Regulations and vehicle safety checks
• Previous palletised distribution or general haulage experience is beneficial but not essential
