This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver looking for regular night work with a professional transport operation that values its drivers. Our client is a well-established logistics and distribution business specialising in general haulage, contract logistics, warehousing and nationwide freight distribution. They operate a modern fleet and provide transport solutions for a wide range of retail, industrial and commercial customers throughout the UK. Pay Rates Monday to Friday PAYE: £17.50 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE with Rolled-Up Holiday Pay: £19.61 per hour Holiday Pay Options Available Drivers can choose between: Standard PAYE with accrued holiday entitlement PAYE with rolled-up holiday pay included within the hourly rate The Role As a HGV Class 1 Night Driver , you will be completing a mixture of general haulage, trunking and RDC deliveries across the UK. Typical duties include: Completing deliveries and collections to RDCs, distribution hubs and customer depots Transporting palletised freight nationwide Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely Accurately completing PODs and delivery paperwork Maintaining compliance with driver hours and WTD regulations Working safely and professionally at all times Most loads are forklift loaded and unloaded, with minimal physical work required.
