Pure Staff's Driving Team are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Avonmouth, Bristol for weekend work with one of the UK's largest and longest-established logistics businesses, completing trunking and retail store deliveries for a major national retail customer. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 Drivers looking specifically for Saturday and/or Sunday work , or drivers who already work elsewhere during the week and are looking to pick up an additional weekend shift where this fits safely and legally within their Drivers' Hours and Working Time limits . The operation offers excellent flexibility across weekend mornings , with start times available from approximately 04:00 through to 10:00 . We can accommodate most morning start-time preferences and will work with drivers around their availability wherever possible. You do not have to commit to both Saturday and Sunday . Whether you're available every weekend, Saturdays only, Sundays only or simply looking for additional weekend shifts around other commitments, speak to our Driving Team about what works for you. Morning starts between 04:00 and 10:00 Shifts averaging approximately 10 hours HGV Class 1 trunking Retail store deliveries No handball Strapping and securing loads Completing thorough vehicle and load checks Ensuring trailers and loads are correctly contained before leaving site Completing delivery paperwork accurately Following Drivers' Hours, Working Time and site procedures Drivers must correctly strap and contain their loads and complete all necessary checks before moving away from the loading bay or taking a trailer .
