Job Description

CLASS 1 DRIVER EVESHAM | Ongoing Work with potential Temp to Perm
Looking for regular Class 1 work without needing to commit to five shifts every week?

We have work available throughout the week, although our strongest requirements are towards the end of the week and across the weekend.

Drivers who can include Friday, Saturday, Sunday and/or Monday within their regular availability will therefore have access to the greatest number of shifts.

Tell us which days you can regularly work and we'll discuss the shift patterns available.

HGV Class 1 Day Driver Pay Rates
Monday to Friday Days = £16.00ph - (£17.93 with Rolled-Up Holiday)
The rates above include 12.07% Rolled-Up Holiday Pay.

Prefer traditional holiday pay?

No problem.

You can instead have your holiday pay accrued separately and paid when you take annual leave.

What Does the Work Involve?

This is straightforward Class 1 Driver Role, typically involving:
General Haulage
Refrigerated vehicles
Store Deliveries
1-3 drops daily
Work can vary, may require some Handball
What Working Pattern Can I Do?

We're interested in speaking to drivers who can offer regular weekly availability, rather than requiring everyone to commit to the same fixed rota.

We manage this clients rota so we can work around you.

We can consider drivers looking for:
2 day shifts per week
3 day shifts per week
4 or more day shifts per week
Regular weekend work
A combination of weekday and weekend shifts
Friday to Monday is our busiest period, so availability across some of these days will give you the best opportunity for regular weekly shifts.

We also have night shifts available at higher hourly rates, so please speak to our Driving Team if you would consider nights.

What You'll Need
To work as an HGV Class 1 Driver with Pure Staff, you will need:
UK Category C+E Licence
Valid Driver CPC Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 12 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience
No more than 6 penalty points
Good understanding of Drivers' Hours, Working Time and tachograph regulations
A professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach
