Pure Staff's Driving Team are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Avonmouth, Bristol for weekend work with one of the UK's largest and longest-established logistics businesses, completing trunking and retail store deliveries for a major national retail customer.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 Drivers looking specifically for Saturday and/or Sunday work , or drivers who already work elsewhere during the week and are looking to pick up an additional weekend shift where this fits safely and legally within their Drivers' Hours and Working Time limits .The operation offers excellent flexibility across weekend mornings , with start times available from approximately 04:00 through to 10:00 . We can accommodate most morning start-time preferences and will work with drivers around their availability wherever possible.
You do not have to commit to both Saturday and Sunday . Whether you're available every weekend, Saturdays only, Sundays only or simply looking for additional weekend shifts around other commitments, speak to our Driving Team about what works for you.

Typical duties include: Morning starts between 04:00 and 10:00Shifts averaging approximately 10 hoursHGV Class 1 trunkingRetail store deliveriesNo handballStrapping and securing loadsCompleting thorough vehicle and load checksEnsuring trailers and loads are correctly contained before leaving siteCompleting delivery paperwork accuratelyFollowing Drivers' Hours, Working Time and site proceduresDrivers must correctly strap and contain their loads and complete all necessary checks before moving away from the loading bay or taking a trailer .Weekend Work That Fits Around YouOne of the biggest advantages of this particular requirement is the flexibility available across Saturday and Sunday mornings . You may already work during the week and simply want one additional Saturday or Sunday shift , or you may specifically prefer weekend-only work. With starts available throughout the morning from approximately 04:00 until 10:00 , we can accommodate most start-time preferences and will work with you to find shifts that suit your availability.
