About the Role
Pure Staff are recruiting for a Van Driver on behalf of a well-established business within the automotive distribution industry based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Van Driver looking for long-term ongoing work with genuine prospects for permanent employment.
The successful Van Driver will be delivering automotive parts to commercial customers across the region, working as part of a friendly and supportive transport operation.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Complete multi-drop deliveries of automotive parts to business customers
* Carry out between 6 and 8 deliveries per shift
* Load, unload and handball products safely and efficiently
* Complete delivery documentation accurately using an electronic POD device
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
* Deliver excellent customer service at all delivery points
* Follow all company health and safety procedures
Shift Pattern
* Monday to Friday
* Start times available between 06:00 and 11:00
* Typical shift lengths between 8 and 12 hours
* Ongoing work throughout the year
* Flexible start times may be available depending on operational requirements
* No regular weekend working
Requirements
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Previous Van Driver experience preferred
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
* Ability to complete paperwork accurately and electronically
* Reliable and professional approach to work
* Good understanding of road safety and driving regulations
