from the customer's Avonmouth operation. Typical duties include: Afternoon starts between
12:00 and 16:00 Shifts averaging approximately
10 hours HGV Class 1 trunking Retail store deliveries No handball Strapping and securing loads Completing thorough vehicle and load checks Ensuring trailers and loads are correctly contained before leaving site Completing delivery paperwork accurately Following Drivers' Hours, Working Time and site procedures Important - Load Security. Load security is a critical requirement of this assignment.
Drivers must correctly strap and contain their loads and complete all necessary checks
before moving away from the loading bay or taking a trailer . The customer takes load security extremely seriously. Failure to follow the site's required load-security procedures could result in immediate removal from the assignment.
