Pure Staff are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for immediate starts on PM and Night shifts based in Bridgwater. This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading dairy and logistics providers, offering ongoing work, modern vehicles and premium night rates.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

  • Monday to Friday Nights: £18.84 per hour
  • Saturday Nights: £20.85 per hour
  • Sunday Nights: £26.78 per hour
  • Bank Holiday Nights: £28.26 per hour

Please note, holiday pay is accrued separately and paid when holiday is booked. Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins or Payroll Processing Fees.

Duties

  • Trunking to RDCs and distribution centres
  • Deliveries to customer sites nationwide
  • 1-4 drops depending on route
  • Curtain sider and refrigerated trailer work
  • Driving modern, well-maintained vehicles
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks

Shift Information

  • PM start times available from 13:00 onwards
  • Night trunking work available
  • Monday to Friday work available
  • Weekend shifts available
  • Average shift length between 10 and 12 hours
  • Ongoing and regular work available immediately

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience
  • Valid CPC Card
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • No TT, TS, MS, DR or DD endorsements
