I’m partnering a Big 4 firm to recruit a Transactions Tax Manager to join their market-leading M&A Tax practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile, complex transactions, supporting private equity funds, multinational corporates, and institutional investors, while playing a key role in the delivery of transactions tax services.

The Role

  • Manage and deliver transactions tax engagements, advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and restructurings.
  • Support a range of transaction-related tax matters including due diligence, structuring, and tax risk analysis.
  • Review tax due diligence reports and structuring analysis prepared by junior team members, ensuring high technical standards.
  • Work closely with Directors and Partners on complex transactions and time-sensitive deal work.
  • Contribute to the training, coaching, and development of junior staff within the team.
  • Build strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with other service lines, identifying opportunities to deliver integrated client solutions.

About You

  • ACA and/or CTA qualified, with experience in transactions tax, corporate tax, or a related advisory environment.
  • A strong technical foundation in UK corporate tax, ideally with exposure to transaction-related work.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proactive, organised, and interested in developing your career within a leading transactions tax team.
