An experienced Tax Project Manager is required to support a global tax transformation programme, transitioning tax activities from regional finance teams into a central tax function across multiple international jurisdictions.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong tax knowledge, project management experience, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different countries and functions.

This is a 12 month FTC, starting as soon as possible. The business is hybrid, with a working pattern of 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the transition of direct and indirect tax activities from finance teams into the tax function across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for tax matters, working closely with finance teams, business stakeholders, and external advisors.
  • Document processes, maintain compliance trackers, identify control gaps, and ensure all tax obligations are met during transition.
  • Develop scalable processes and support the successful handover of activities into business-as-usual operations.
  • Manage multiple workstreams independently while driving projects to agreed timelines.

Experience Required

  • 5+ years' tax experience, ideally with exposure to both corporate income tax and indirect taxes.
  • Experience managing tax projects, process improvements, or transformation programmes within a multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of tax compliance, controls, reporting, and governance.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across functions and geographies.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Net Suite, and advanced Excel skills.
