Pure Search is partnering with a leading global investment management business to appoint a Tax Associate into its EMEA Tax team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tax professional looking to move into, or further develop their career within, the investment management sector. Sitting within a global tax function across London and New York, the role offers broad exposure across both tax compliance and advisory, with the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.
The role:
- Managing and supporting direct and indirect tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Corporation Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing and Withholding Tax matters
- Working closely with external advisers, auditors and internal entity controllers
- Supporting tax accounting and ensuring the accurate recording of tax items within financial statements
- Assisting with tax planning, tax audits and projects arising from legislative changes
- Supporting the tax structuring of investment transactions
- Monitoring investment structures from a tax risk perspective
- Preparing internal tax documentation and supporting interactions with tax authorities
- Contributing to projects focused on improving tax processes and systems
What we are looking for:
- Strong corporate tax background
- FS experience ideal but, not a must
- An ideal first move in-house (or a role for someone already in-house)
