Tax Manager

Overview

I am partnered with an international insurance business who are searching for a tax manager to join the team for a 12-15 month contract. Working in a small tax team, the manager will be involved in all aspects of tax for the business – compliance, reporting, advisory, VAT and transfer pricing.

Responsibilities

The day-to-day of the manager\’s role will include:

• Manage the Group’s corporation tax compliance, including oversight of external advisors, statutory filings, and preparation of tax provisions for accounts and budgets.
• Support with international tax matters and advise on M&A, restructures, and new entity setups across Europe and Asia.
• Support with Transfer Pricing compliance and documentation.
• Support quarterly VAT returns and Making Tax Digital requirements.

Qualifications

• Significant UK corporation tax experience, including corporate tax compliance, reporting and advisory experience
• Transfer Pricing and VAT compliance experience is desirable, but not essential
