Pure Search are instructed on a rare and exciting opportunity with a leading name in the Sports & Media space, who are looking to grow their Sports, Media & Entertainment practice group with an associate hire at 1-4PQE.

The Firm:

Our client has consistently received Tier 1 rankings for their work across the TMT space and this is a rare opportunity to join a genuine market-leader in a role that will encompass exposure to Sport, Music, Broadcasting and Live Events, Technology, Digital Media, Branding and Interactive. It is a diverse and fascinating role that will expose you to some of the most high-profile commercial work across the sports and entertainment industries.

The Role:

You will advise a range of talent, investors, governing bodies, disruptive and established technology clients, agencies and digital media companies in respect of their commercial, transactional and regulatory matters. The role will have a significant exposure to sports work, advising on a range of transfers concerning Premier League and English Football League players, as well as a selection of commercial sponsorship and endorsement agreements. In addition, you will see exposure to a range of live events, technology start-ups in growth mode, live music and interactive content.

About You:

You will be an England & Wales qualified Solicitor with at least 1 year post-qualified experience of commercial or corporate law at a leading City law firm. In particular, you will ideally have experience of either commercial contracts, licensing, soft IP, technology or media work, with clear aspirations of working for a genuine market-leader in the industry.
