This is a Private Credit Operations role focused on funding and settlement of private debt transactions, loan lifecycle management, leverage facility oversight, portfolio monitoring, and partnering closely with the investment/deals team.

About the Role

You would work closely with the Deals/Investment Team to ensure private debt investments are properly funded, recorded, monitored, and reported throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Fund and settle private debt investments/loans and manage cash liquidity across the funds.
  • Maintain loan records in Wall Street Office (WSO), including amendments, waivers, corporate actions, positions, and trades.
  • Perform cash and position reconciliations on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Work with Treasury on subscription lines, leverage facilities, and borrowing base calculations used to finance investments.
  • Support fund accounting with monthly and quarterly NAV closes.
  • Conduct portfolio analysis, including asset-level returns (IRRs and Mo Ms) and compliance monitoring.
  • Support the launch and onboarding of new funds and broader operational improvement projects.

A large part of the role would involve

  • Coordinating the funding of loans and investments once the deals team has agreed a transaction.
  • Ensuring sufficient cash is available and borrowings are correctly calculated.
  • Tracking loans throughout their life, including amendments and repayments.
  • Acting as a key operational contact for the investment professionals, fund accountants, treasury team, and external counterparties.
