An exciting opportunity with a globally recognised organisation within the TMT sector, based in a high-performing EMEA shared services environment. This role sits within a regional tax function responsible for delivering indirect tax compliance across multiple territories. The successful candidate will take ownership of end-to-end VAT and withholding tax processes, ensuring accurate, fully reconciled filings supported by robust audit documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing VAT, WHT, and statutory filings (e.g. Intrastat, EC Sales) across EMEA
  • Performing reconciliations between ERP systems and tax reporting outputs
  • Maintaining audit-ready documentation and adhering to strict internal controls
  • Acting as a key contact for regional stakeholders on tax data queries
  • Supporting system and process improvements, including ERP transformation initiatives

Candidate profile:

  • 2+ years’ indirect tax/VAT compliance experience, ideally in a multinational or shared services environment
  • Working knowledge of UK/EU VAT rules
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or tax engines (desirable)
