We are supporting an established asset manager looking for a VAT specialist to join their team. This is a standalone indirect tax role, reporting into the Head of Tax. Given the standalone nature of the role, we are looking for someone who is happy to be hands-on with compliance as well as involved in advisory and project-led work.

The role will cover:

  • VAT compliance oversight
  • PAYE settlement support
  • Process implementation and transformation work
  • Monitoring changes in tax legislation and communicating updates to the wider group where required

What we are looking for:

  • VAT specialist
  • Financial services experience preferred – the business has partial exemptions agreed with HMRC, so experience in this area would be advantageous
  • In-house and/or practice experience
