Pure Search are partnered with an instantly recognisable FMCG business looking to hire a Tax Manager to their growing tax team in London.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full lifecycle of UK and international corporate tax obligations, coordinating return preparation, review, submission activities, and supporting documentation through a combination of internal delivery and specialist external support.
- Lead statutory tax accounting activities under international reporting standards, including provision calculations, deferred tax positions, disclosure requirements, reconciliation processes, and validation of source data used in reporting.
- Produce detailed tax analyses, financial projections, technical memoranda, and executive-level reporting materials to support senior leadership oversight, governance forums, and strategic planning.
- Develop and maintain transfer pricing frameworks, oversee supporting documentation, and provide guidance on the practical implementation of intercompany arrangements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assess the tax impact of organisational changes, cross-border activities, operating model adjustments, and potential permanent establishment exposures, ensuring risks are identified before implementation.
- Partner with finance, operational, and specialist stakeholders to evaluate proposed initiatives, translating complex tax requirements into practical recommendations that support informed commercial decision-making.
- Monitor emerging tax exposures, governance obligations, and optimisation opportunities; manage interactions with tax authorities and auditors by coordinating responses, evidence gathering, and technical explanations.
- Drive enhancements to tax processes, controls, reporting workflows, and data management practices, helping establish scalable compliance frameworks, strengthen operational efficiency, and improve the reliability of tax reporting outputs.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent
- Ability to travel into the Central London office 3 days per week
- Must have UK corporate tax compliance & reporting experience
- Corporate tax advisory, international tax and transfer pricing experience is desirable but not compulsory
- No visa sponsorship available
- This is a full-time role based in Central London 3 days per week, paying up to £95,000 + bonus.
