This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a team responsible for developing and executing the organisation’s funding plan. Core to the role is analysing and optimising funding, alongside ownership of delivering funding objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Treasury function contributes effectively to overall performance while maintaining full compliance with best practice standards, regulatory requirements, and statutory obligations.
  • Deposit Markets
    • Understanding of retail and business deposit markets
    • Monitor market rates and funding requirements; recommend pricing and product changes
    • Develop and maintain forward-looking views on savings product rates
    • Identify opportunities to optimise funding structure and pricing
    • Maintain relationships with deposit aggregators
    • Manage governance processes for deposits, including compliance and product reviews
  • Data Modelling and Management
    • Determine an optimal funding strategy
    • Conduct behavioural analysis of deposit books
    • Prepare and present monthly funding reports to ALCO
    • Support preparation and analysis of the deposit portfolio
    • Assist with stress testing exercises and documentation
  • Treasury Systems
    • Support development of a modern, digitally focused Treasury function
    • Develop, enhance, and maintain funding optimisation tools
    • Prepare daily reporting within ALM systems and maintain product data
