This role is responsible for loan funding and settlement, cash and position reconciliations, payment processing, loan lifecycle administration in WSO, and operational support to the private debt investment team.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of cash and investment positions.
- Maintain loan and trade records in Wall Street Office (WSO), including amendments, waivers, corporate actions, and position updates.
- Set up payment instructions (SSIs) and process payments through internal systems.
- Support fund accounting with monthly and quarterly NAV reporting and ad hoc queries.
- Respond to requests from the investment/deals team and assist with onboarding new funds.
- Contribute to operational improvement and change initiatives across the business.
A typical day would involve:
- Coordinating the funding of loans and investments.
- Processing cash movements and payment instructions.
- Reconciling cash balances and investment positions.
- Updating WSO with loan amendments and portfolio activity.
- Investigating operational issues and responding to queries from investment professionals and fund accountants.
