The Role:
- Take ownership of indirect tax matters including VAT advisory, risk management, and transaction-related support.
- Provide practical, commercially focused VAT advice that addresses client challenges effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, delivering a high standard of service.
- Ensure the successful delivery of VAT advice, maintaining both technical accuracy and a commercial perspective.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely, providing straightforward, jargon-free solutions.
- Review VAT returns and technical work prepared by junior team members, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Support the development of junior staff through coaching, mentoring, and training.

- CTA qualified and/or technically strong, with excellent communication skills.
- Prior professional services experience, and experience in managing a portfolio of clients.
- Holds broad VAT experience, including advisory, across a diverse range of sectors.
- Demonstrates originality in thinking and is proactive in contributing ideas and perspectives.
- Motivated to achieve fast-tracked career progression and long-term growth.
- Skilled in delivering efficient, risk-focused VAT due diligence reviews in fast-paced environments.
