A US/UK Tax Manager is sought by a leading Top 10 professional services firm based in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist team advising a high-quality portfolio of US-connected clients, including high net worth individuals, families and business owners.

Operating within a firm where Private Client is a core focus, you will gain exposure to technically challenging work across trusts, estates and international tax matters within a collaborative and well-supported environment.

The Role:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of US/UK private clients, delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services.
  • Provide advice on complex cross-border personal tax matters, including income, capital gains, and inheritance tax, with a focus on US-connected individuals.
  • Work closely with Trusts & Estates specialists to advise on structures involving trusts and family wealth.
  • Review personal tax returns and ensure technical accuracy across both UK and US tax requirements.
  • Take responsibility for line management, including work allocation, appraisals, and the development of junior team members.
  • Play an active role in the day-to-day management of the team, including resource planning and delivery against performance targets.
  • Support senior leadership on advisory projects and contribute to the achievement of wider business objectives.
  • Build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted and reliable point of contact.

About You:

  • EA / ATT / CTA / STEP qualified (or equivalent), with strong experience in private client or personal tax.
  • Dual US/UK tax experience is highly desirable; strong candidates with a single jurisdiction background will also be considered.
  • Experience advising US-connected clients, particularly in relation to trusts, estates and family wealth structures.
  • Comfortable managing a client portfolio and operating at Manager level, or ready to step up into the role.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex cross-border tax matters.
  • A proactive and organised approach, with an interest in team leadership and development.
  • A collaborative mindset and interest in contributing to the wider success of the team and business.
